A recent study by researchers in Boston concludes that a child may be less inclined to develop myopia (that's when you can't see far away), if they spend more time outdoors. Parents of 191 children at an average age of 13.3 years, answered questions about their kids' TV watching habits, and the results indicate that children who participated in more outside activities -- playing sports, hiking, swimming -- had better vision than those who watched more hours of TV, trolled on Facebook and re-read Twilight for the 27th time.
