And we snagged her Brown Bear CubCakes recipe just for you! "These are so simple to make and they make people smile like crazy!" says Clare. "I think it's funny that the way the eyes land on them, or how you place the nose, gives them unique personalities."
We're already smitten. Here's the recipe:
Brown Bear CubCakes
Ingredients: 1 recipe of your favorite cake 1 recipe for your favorite frosting 40 candy eyes (available at cake supply stores) or any small round candy 20 pink jellybeans 20 Peppermint Patties (sliced in half) or any disk-shaped chocolate candy
1. Line cupcake pans with paper liners. Make cake according to recipe. Spoon batter into liners 2/3rds full. Bake. Let cool. 2. Frost cupcakes thickly with your favorite chocolate frosting. 3. Place pink jellybean in center of cupcake. 4. Place candy eyes above nose. 5. Place Peppermint Patty halves at top of cupcake for ears. 6. Go "Awwwwwww that's so cute!
Depending on your recipe, this makes 20 Bears.
