Not all eyelashes were created equal. Some people are blessed with naturally thick, long, luscious lashes (yeah, I hate that crowd). Others, like me, drew the short end of the stick and have skimpy, thin, anemic-looking flutterers. Boo. Thankfully, I can call upon the power of mascara to boost my lashes' appearance, but often times, the brush overwhelms my tiny lashes, making it difficult to properly apply and coat. The key? Finding a wand that's small enough to accomodate my pint-sized ones. Here are three that do the trick!
♥ SuperMagnify Mascara, Avon ($9, pictured). This small but mighty brush boasts a 5-to-1 bristle to lash ratio, which means each lash gets extra special attention. The formula is great for adding definition and volume, plus it doesn't clump -- a cardinal mascara sin.
♥ L'Oreal Telescopic Explosion, Drugstore ($9.50). Use this unique "ball" brush to carefully coat and sculpt your lashes.
♥ Maybelline Lash Discovery Mascara, Drugstore ($6). A thin, narrow wand gets to the root of your lashes to provide maximum volume, oomph and separation. Waterproof, too, so you don't get raccoon eyes when you're watching Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 this summer.
