The Indie Rock Poster Book

We heart Yellow Bird Project, the organization that does go-gooder things through the power of indie music. As a follow up to their awesome Indie Rock Coloring Book, they've released the Indie Rock Poster Book ($25), which features 30 pieces of original artwork by illustrators inspired by indie rock songs by musicians like Bon Iver, Beach House and the White Stripes. On the opposite side of the poster is the artist's commentary of the illustration. Deanne Cheuk, who gave her interpretation of Broken Social Scene's "Anthems for a Seventeen Year-Old Girl" says, "My poster tries to capture the tumultuous years of being a teenager -- the freeness and simultaneous constriction that make you feel like you're going crazy...."

Each poster is printed on 11" x 14" piece of high-quality cardstock that you can tear out easily and put on your wall. If you want to take it up a notch, frame those babies (Ikea, anyone?). Do you know how much we love affordable art? A lot.
