Bag It: Anne's Must-Haves

Rarely do I like to write about myself, but to kick off our new Bag It series, I will be your inaugural "Bagger." So, what the heck am I talking about? Bag It features the beauty essentials we carry on-the-go, can't live without, will gladly drive back home 12 miles to retrieve if left behind. Here are the products I bring with me everywhere: Lypsyl LypMoisturizer ($3.50). Made with pure Swedish beeswax, coconut oil and shea butter, this is my absolute favorite lip balm. It goes on light, smooth, non-sticky and really keeps my lips supple and moisturized for hours -- it doesn't have that "addictive" quality, where you constantly re-apply every 10 minutes.

Neutrogena SkinClearing mineral powder ($11.19, sale). Great for oily, problem-prone skin, because it really does help clear blemishes! If you're like me, you don't want to look like you're wearing makeup, and this powder provides just enough coverage to even out your skin tone, while still looking natural.

Clinique Chubby Stick ($16). I heart the Chubby Stick. It's less than a lipstick, but more than a lip gloss. I've almost used up my tube of Fuller Fig, the best pinky-brown ever.

d.j.v. beautenizer ($24). This is my one beauty splurge. I've cheated on this mascara many times with cheaper brands that claim the same things (all-day wear, smudge-free, etc.), but I always come running back to this tube. It seriously won't budge. Both the Volume Lash and Fiberwig LX formulas are aces.

Goody Ouchless Hair Elastics ($3). I will freak OUT if I can't tie my hair back, so I always carry a few of these in my bag. I've been known to wear a pencil in my hair if I get desperate.

And that's it! It only takes five items to make me look beautiful (ha..ha... not.). Finally, what are your Bag It must-haves? Write to us with your essentials, telling us what you carry and why, and you could be featured as our next Bagger!
