Drugstore Beauty Under $12

cg_lipperfection_jumbo_gloss_balm_lipgloss_1Michiko Boorberg has done makeup for everyone from Yoko Ono to Penn Badgley, and she's worked on runways like Alexander McQueen and Chanel... and I met her recently. So I asked her for her top three beauty buys in the drugstore aisle. Listen up:  CoverGirl Lip Perfection Jumbo Gloss Balm ($7 each, pictured). "I like a balm with a little light color, and these are really good for layering -- you can add more if you want a bright look. Plus, the color is very true to what it is on the package so you don’t have to guess."

Almay Eyeliner Crayon Contour ($6). "I love this black liner -- it's thin and really dark, dark black, making it nice for lining the inner rims of eyes for a sexy effect. White package with black lid. You don't have to sharpen it, just twist."

Neutrogena Bronzer Blush Duos ($12). "The blush gives you color and then the bronzer softens it for that glowy, dewy look. Take a brush and mix both to apply on the cheeks -- it's amazing. These are good on EVERYBODY."
