Recycle Your Shoes

That's where Kindrunner comes in. If you order a pair of shoes through the site, they'll send you a Kindness Cash Rewards return label. With that, you can ship your old pair to them for free, and you'll receive a $10 credit towards your next Kindrunner purchase. So what happens to your old shoes? One of Kindrunner's shoe donation partners, Soles4Souls or the MORE Foundation Group, delivers them to someone in need. "We envision a continuous cycle," says the Kindrunner site, "where shoes sold through Kindrunner are ultimately returned after their running life is complete, donated to someone who needs the shoes much more than the original owner and uses them for an extended period."

How great is that vision? Even if you're not purchasing new shoes via Kindrunner, you can send your old shoes in to be donated (you pay for shipping). That means less shoe waste for landfills and more people with happy feet. Visit Kindrunner for more on how to donate.
