We're long-time ModCloth fans, and now we have even more reason to spotlight their adorable stuff. They are the first retailers to sign an anti-photoshop/airbrush pledge from The Brave Girls Alliance.
The pledge says that companies vow to "do our best not to change the shape, size, proportion, color and/or remove/enhance the physical features, of the people in our ads in post-production." I mean, it just makes sense: Don't alter people's real images.
The ModCloth ladies themselves can tell you more about why they decided to sign the pledge, and we hope other companies follow suit. For now, we'll spend some time shopping pretty fall dresses and deciding between a cute porcupine and a classic Dog Park Party sweater. Happy weekend!
