The 13th anniversary of the attacks of September 11th is today. (Does that sentence sound like it's from a dystopian novel to anyone else? The event is still so unfathomable to me). In any case, it's a good day to reflect, remember and reach out to the world in hopes of adding some Good to your surroundings. In the past, we've shared ideas for how to spread the love today. A few of our favorites:
♥ Pledge to do something nice today via mygooddeed.org, and tell others about it, too!
♥ At a loss for a good deed idea? We've got you covered.
♥ Read a moving Young Adult novel that takes place on 9/11/01: Love is the Higher Law, by David Levithan (pictured).
♥ Donate a Tweet. Support the National September 11th Memorial and Museum by typing a supportive message -- the memorial will tweet it for you, and receive a donation of $.25 per character.
♥ Tell someone you love them. I mean, it's just a nice thing to do, and you never know about tomorrow.
