Even though girls start loving science and math just as much as boys, by 8th grade they’re only half as interested in these subjects as boys. Obviously, it’s time to do something about girls and STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics)!
That’s why Do Something and 3M joined forces to create a fun text message game where you form a Science Sleuth Club with three friends! The case? Someone stole the school mascot a week before the big rival football game. You and your friends will put your heads together and use science skills to unlock clues, help narrow in on suspects, and catch the thief.
It’s not only a pretty cool way to learn more about careers in STEM, but once you unlock all six levels of the game, you’ll also get to help 3M direct a donation to a science classroom in your local community through DonorsChoose.org! Plus, you'll automatically be entered to win a $10,000 scholarship.
