More Silly Than Spooky Halloween Movies

Buffy_The_Vampire_Slayer_MovieFor all the things I love about Halloween (the candy, the pumpkins... the candy), I'm not really a fan of SCARY things. I have a sensitive constitution. If you suffer from the same phobia of ghouls and goblins, here are a few of my favorite non-scary Halloween movies that provide the right ratio of silly-to-spooky.

♥ BeetlejuiceThe spooky: Ghosts who inhabit a home try to scare its new (living) owners by hiring another ghost. The silly: A rousing rendition of "Day-O" overdinner.

♥ Little Shop Of HorrorsThe spooky: A strange and unusual plant has a taste for blood. The silly: Lots of musical numbers, including Steve Martin playing an Elvis-inspired sadistic dentist.

♥ Buffy The Vampire SlayerThe spooky: A valley girl realizes it's her fate to hunt down evil vampires. The silly: Amazing early '90s fashion, complete with neon, crop tops and leggings.
