In my decades-long search for the perfect sunscreen, I've come up short. My laundry list of gripes includes: too many chemicals, smells bad, greasy, oily, hard to apply, etc. And now I'm holding my breath, because I think I've found... it: Alba Botanica Hawaiian Dry-Oil Sunscreen ($11).
The application is a cinch -- just spritz and rub it in. The coconut oil goes on dry and non-greasy and leaves you with a nice shimmer. And did I mention how GOOD IT SMELLS? It's smells like paradise. A fruity drink in a coconut. A tropical Hawaiian breeze.
It's like a vacation in a bottle, with the added bonus of preventing an embarrassing and painful sunburn.
