Almost half of young people have either seen or experienced some form of online harassment. That's why DoSomething and Coca-Cola want you to say no to the negativity by joining their Screen Statements campaign! All you need to do is post stickies with positive messages all over every computer, laptop, smartphone and tablet in sight to stop online negativity before it even starts.
When you sign up to join the movement you can download an action guide with tips on what to do to reduce cyber bullying and ideas for notes to get you started. Think stickies that include hashtags, drawings of emojis or other techie references.
Don't forget to snap pics of your handiwork and share 'em on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook with the hashtag #MakeItHappyby April 30th for a chance to win a $5,000 scholarship.
Here's to making the interwebs a sunnier place!
