Indie Crafter du Jour: Homework Party

It's hotter than H-E-double-hockey-sticks, but I'm already thinking about fall. I love summer, but one can only take so many days of frizzy hair and pit stains. Hellllp.... One thing I'm looking forward to is wearing my beloved Levi's denim jacket. It's pretty much perfection. In preparation, I've been collecting a bunch of pins to decorate it and now I'm researching patches. And I think I've found The Ones.

They come way of Brooklynite Angela Stewart who lovingly hand-embroiders colorful patches. Her Etsy shop Homework Party not only has the best name, but is a veritable hub of happy, good vibes.

Her diamond patches ($20-$80) are little, detailed works of art, and her Star Wars-inspired light sabers ($16) really appeal to my sci-fi nerd side. Check out the rest of her goods in her shop for lots of fun stuff.

I'll be counting down the day until my jean jacket can make it's fall debut. Now, excuse me while I melt into a puddle.
